Is There a Fast Acne Treatment

ladyAre you looking for a fast acne treatment? Well there might be many reasons why somebody might be looking for such a fast paced treatment. It could be because he or she is getting married and don’t want the acne to be there to spoil their best day and best look. Or it might be because somebody might want to participate in a beauty pageant and doesn’t want pimples or acne to pull her down in the rankings. Or it may simply also be due the fact that there’s severe itching in the acne or the pimples and he or she can’t take it anymore.

Although there is nothing that can be really called as fast treatment because we all have varied skin types and how my skin might react to a particular treatment might vary from how your skin would react. We will here discuss the methods which generally work faster than the regular and conventional techniques. We will also discuss how to make the regular treatments faster by following certain simple precautions.

Some of the methods that work faster than the creams and lotions are -

1. Dermabrasion - In this method the acne affected areas are rubbed with a revolving diamond studded wheel. This removes the dead skin and makes way for new skin to emerge.

2. Laser Resurfacing - In this technique the skin’s damaged areas are given a laser treatment in a controlled way. It also ensures that the bacteria dn the dead skin is eliminated to the maximum extent even deep down the skin.

3. Chemical peel - They are a fast way of treating acne if it is not very severe.

4. Punch Technique - This is a technique which works faster when the acne is spread deep inside the skin.

While these techniques are fast and cost more than the conventional techniques. They can be made faster by doing the following -

1. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water every day to make sure that the toxins get ejected in increased volumes on a daily basis.

2. Avoid scratching the affected areas because the more you scratch the more it spreads. Also if the itching really bothers then put some alcohol or menthol based solution on it because it not only acts as an antiseptic but also evaporates fast thereby taking away the body heat, leaving a cooler feeling on the skin and thereby reducing the itching.

3. Reduce the intake of oily and fatty foods because they are also responsible for slowing down the body’s metabolism thereby leading to higher levels of toxins in the body. Increased intake of high roughage content foods will help to counter the fatty and oily food’s effects.
